The Bettle is a soccer quiz at Veronica. Hélène Hendriks and Kees Jansma lead this show. Team captains Leo Alkemade and Frank Lammers compete weekly with a changing guest to determine who knows the most about soccer. Each week they play five rounds against each other. In each round, they have to answer the most diverse soccer questions. Winning a round earns them a golden ball. In the final round, they test their soccer skills. Then in 90 seconds, they must hit the ball as many times as possible on the Lappset Sutu Interactive ball wall. The wall consists of sixteen surfaces that alternately light up. One of the team members must try to shoot the golden ball against a lit-up surface. The team that hits the most planes wins the episode of The Bettle. There is also a look ahead between rounds of play at the most important games of the upcoming weekend. Leo and Frank also make their predictions on the outcome of the upcoming soccer matches. Do Leo and Frank have foresight? You can see it below in the broadcasts of The Bettle. Together with the producers of this show, I designed a game that works well on the ball wall and with the TV format.
