Nonsense is a soundtoy for a group of four six-year-olds. This toy provokes fantasy and construction play, resulting in a fun and interesting experience for these children. The toy has the following components: hub with a huge red button, 1 start block and 15 music blocks. Every block contains four different soundsamples with a word , music and soundeffects. The children can connect this blocks by placing them in a grid, next to each other or far away from each other, and create a sequence of sounds. Everyting is made out of wood to create a magical experience, to hide the electronics in a material that children know.

Sepiadventure is a game created for the client Wacom. Wacom is trying to create an interesting platform for different apps and games for their drawing tablet line. This game uses the pen and the drawing tablet as a controller and lets the player use images of their friends and themself to create a funny slapstick photo album with different photo’s of their trip through different movies. Players can take pictures during the game, where players must USE their friends to overcome different obstacles.

Players use cards to earn points and control the ball on the playfield. They only have two balls and when they lose both, it’s game over! Indelible is a small test project to test the possibilities of a passive interactive comic. The result is an iPad comic that checks the weather, position and nighttime to influence the context in the comic. It also plays with the order of the events that can be different every time the user reads it. The result works pretty well and with a natural swipe and drag interface it is a cool looking comic.

We Want Stuff is a fun dynamic game where people must bid with dice for different items. Every player has a different hidden object that he or she must complete. Every card has a value printed on it, this value determines how much you must roll to win the card. There are cards that require more than one die to complete or you just have more chance with more dice. But beware other players try to stop you and you also must work together to not lose all the necessary power required to not lose a round. The player with the most completed objectives wins the game.

The monster looks very hungry and wants you to give him some food. You give him some harmless fruit. But after a while the monster demands more and more of you. Do you choose to give him more or not?
Cogs 3D is a multiplayer version of Lazy 8’s indie hit Cogs, a diabolically clever Steampunk-style, gear-based puzzler, where you rotate gadgets to solve each puzzle. For PlayStation Home, Codename will be collaborating with Lazy 8 to transform the game to include co-op play and expand the puzzles to full 3D with mechanical elements on all sides. Cogs 3D, located in Home Plaza, will be fun to play and visually stunning to watch.
Its a co-op only tower defence game, in which hordes of enemies run at the castle wall and the players need to keep them away. The players have a range of weapons, most work on all enemies, but some enemies can only be killed with a specific type of weapon. Some weapons need team work to use them. Most weapons get there ammo from downstairs, over a narrow stairs that allows only 1 player at a time. Enough gameplay elements to make this game frantic, and we have seen some teams shine when they had clear communication.
Miner was an assignment to make a game that is fun for a minimal of 1 minute and easy to learn. We choose for a race/adventure type of gameplay where the player must escape a collapsing mine. Next to this the game must be played with a Wiimote and Nunchuk to enhance the experience of the game. Can you survive this game?
Galactic Travels is a portable boardgame that consists of a set of tiles and cards. In this two player game you must find 3 aliens to win. By connecting the tiles you can find different cards and maybe find one of the aliens. During the game you can attack the ship of your enemy and you must survive the different hazzards that will try to kill you. By using a level meter and dice you can defeat the hazzards. Wormholes will warp you to different spots on the map. Do you have the courage to find these 3 aliens?
In this game you are a plastic boy trapped in a world of toys. The goal of this game is to puzzle your way out, by using four different balls and the environment. The balls you can use, are a bounce, sticky, metal and fire ball. The objects in this world all have physics and by using the four balls and the physics you can find the key. A small serious game made for the Imagine Cup 2011 Competition. In CoXist 4 players must upgrade their town to survive the end of the world. By collecting resources created by the different players they upgrade their town to the next level. But you can’t collect all the resources in 10 minutes by yourself. Are you going to help others to survive the end of the world or are you going to fail alone. By carrying a crate with more people you can move faster or you can destroy the resource or hit the other players. Will you learn to share and help other people?
ICrash is a prototype game concept for a 2.5D platform game on the iPhone. In this game your iPhone crashes and you must repair it. Because we wanted to keep the controls simple there are only two possible actions. Turning the iphone controls the gravity and by pointing and draging you can let the character jump.
This serious game was an assignment to make a game about the Utrecht High School of Arts. We chose to make a game about the first year and what for experience this was. What the Bleep!? was my first game in flash and a programming assignment. The assignment was to make a game like the game speedracer, a top down race game. In What the bleep I used the principle of rock, paper and scissors (evade, catch and shoot) to make it stand out between all the other assignment results.
